An elegant wedding at Froyle Park for Pamela and Anthony

Renowned as one of Hampshire’s most elegant wedding venues, Froyle Park promised the perfect backdrop for Pamela & Anthony’s wedding day. With the team at Matigono Events at the helm to ensure their love story ran smoothly and Jessy Papasavva Photography on hand to capture the romance of the day, we just knew it was going to be an occasion to remember. It brings us so much joy to be able to share a glimpse into their celebration with you on the journal today…

The couple chose to host a traditional church ceremony at St Edward’s, the Confessor Church in Windsor, before heading to Froyle Park for their luxurious reception. Here at Fiona Curry Flowers, we focused on providing exquisite floral design throughout their country house wedding reception, inspired by an all-white and antique gold colour palette, with scented eucalyptus foliage taking centre stage.

Pamela, the bride-to-be, looked breathtaking in an ivory fishtail gown with sheer sleeves, wearing her hair in a half-up, half-down style with tousled waves. She carried a mixed bridal bouquet overflowing with roses and mallows, while her team of bridesmaids held a simple yet stylish hydrangea bouquet arrangements that worked beautifully alongside the main bridal bouquet. Anthony, the groom, looked incredibly handsome in an emerald green velvet dinner jacket, with a stunning rose placed carefully for his buttonhole. It was a divine contrast against the decadent green hues of his attire.

As always, the space at Froyle park was already looking beautiful for their reception, further enhanced with thoughtful floral design that worked in harmony with the venue. Our floristry team styled the guest tables with bridal flowers, hydrangeas and eucalyptus, along with old gold vases and a mixture of our dainty vintage tea lights to add an extra dash of luxe gold.

Pamela and Anthony wanted to make a real feature of their sweetheart table for just two, using the same flowers throughout their table décor. We also worked in delicate glass cylinders and floating candles that elevated the ambience. The sweetheart table was placed on a stage in the reception space, where two oversized pedestal arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, mallows and phlox captured the hearts of all their guests.

Pamela and Anthony were an absolute delight to work with and we feel honoured to have been able to have been such a special part of their wedding day at Froyle Park. Michael & Katie

Michael and Katie at Northbrook Park

Having been postponed from the previous year, it’s a real pleasure to be finally able to share Michael and Katie’s wedding day at Northbrook Park with you. This wonderfully relaxed couple had the most fun from start to finish, with just the odd English shower here and there but it certainly didn’t dampen their spirits! In fact, the couple were so relieved and overjoyed to say, ‘I Do’ after waiting so patiently, that the atmosphere at their Northbrook Park wedding was simply electric!

Offering luxury floral design across Hampshire, London and beyond, I love nothing more than getting to know my couples, their personalities and everything that is truly important to them. Katie and her bridesmaids are dancers and actresses performing in many West End productions, while the bride also dances with The English National Ballet. The guests spoiled the groom with a standing ovation for attempting the first dance! It’s the personal touches like this that really do add the wow-factor to a wedding.

As their luxury wedding florist, I designed a romantic and feminine wedding that was still effortlessly understated. We used a stunning selection of ivory blooms and touches of palest blue, so that Northbrook Park was abundant with fresh and inspiring blooms. Katie’s bridal bouquet was a real show-stopper, opting for an open and natural design, brimming with ivory roses, spray roses and subtle hints of palest blue delphinium and eucalyptus foliage. Katie and Michael maintained the ‘Something Blue’ colour scheme throughout the rest of their celebration, from the bridesmaid gowns right through to the beautiful tablecloths. The bridal party held bouquets that were smaller versions of Katie’s, while the flower girls had ivory and soft blue flowers adorned in their hairstyles. Their aisle style was just exquisite and the bridal party looked like an utter vision.

I adore working at Northbrook Park, a Grade II listed, eighteenth-century manor house in Surrey. The venue offers an array of stunning spaces, including the Vine Room and the Orangery. Within this enchanting Hampshire wedding venue includes a statement fireplace that I fully dressed with a delectable combination of hydrangeas, roses, delphiniums and falling eucalyptus branches. We then moved this to fill the top table for the reception – a fabulous example of how you can re-use the flowers throughout your entire wedding day. Katie and Mike wanted to decorate the room with tall table centrepieces of glass vases and dreamy decorations in ivory and pale blue. Antique golden cutlery and our vintage gold tea lights complemented the tablescapes, adding a dash of luxury to their gorgeous wedding!

A huge thank you to Richard Galloway Photography for sharing the gorgeous images from their wedding day! Just a little reminder that I have now opened my diary for weddings in 2025, so if you are looking for elegant and romantic wedding flowers for your special day, I welcome you to enquire now about my availability.

A Late Summer Wedding for Tilly & Charlie

Set amongst the English countryside, you’ll find Wotton House, a wedding venue boasting magnificent Italian renaissance gardens. The setting is elegantly engulfed in nature, adorned with Roman temples, and topped off with the peaceful River Tillingbourne flowing through the grounds. Tilly and Charlie couldn’t have chosen a more romantic backdrop for their wedding in September 2022 and it was a pleasure to work with this couple to provide them with luxury florals.

The couple were looking for the essence of classical romance for their wedding flowers, choosing fragrant white blooms that were overflowing with eucalyptus and olive foliage, a subtle nod to the heritage of the venue. Greeting the bride and her bridesmaids in the room where they gathered to get ready for this perfect day, I couldn’t help but enjoy the delicate fragrance of all the fresh flowers, as well as the Mimosa and Cardamom Jo Malone candles that were setting the tone for the day. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my brides’ reactions to their wedding flowers, and Tilly’s was certainly no exception.

Tilly chose a stunning and opulent design for her bouquet of long-stemmed white roses, complemented by her bridesmaids’ bouquets, which had the addition of golden fern entwined adding a touch of luxe to their wedding flowers.  Wearing an off the shoulder gown called ‘Jess’ by Eva Lendel, a Ukranian designer, bought through the amazing Ellie Sanderson team, Tilly’s bouquet was the perfect final touch to her bridal attire. A pair of vintage 1977 Chanel earrings, gifted by her groom-to-be, completed her aisle style, ready to make her entrance at the ceremony.

Wotton House is renowned for hosting stunning ceremonies in their Old Library, with its spectacular high ceilings, marble fireplace and 17th Century pillars. Tilly and Charlie had one of the most memorable ceremonies imaginable, where we dressed the venue with tall translucent vases brimming with ivory hydrangeas, Mallows and white roses engulfed in green foliage. Overhead, fairy lights twinkled as Tilly walked down the aisle, where a warm glow and undeniable feeling of love filled the room. A matching flower piece gracefully adorned their ceremony table, effortlessly tying their floral theme together.

Walking into their reception in the Evelyn Suite surrounded by their favourite people, Charlie and Tilly chose to carefully coordinate their table centrepieces to align with the rest of the floral design. The flowers chosen by the couple were the perfect fit for the suite, working alongside their on-the-day stationery by Bewilderly that was placed on the tables for guests to enjoy. Candles softly flickered next to the abundance of flowers, and it was clear to see that the lavish décor of the suite was everything the couple had hoped for.

I’ll never tire of looking back at Tilly and Charlie’s wonderful wedding day at Wotton House, it was an honour to bring their floral visions to life through romantic wedding flowers. Winter Wedding at Northbrook Park

Nestled within 120 acres of glorious parkland, Northbrook Park is a Grade II listed manor house that is effortlessly romantic. With its enchanting Orangery, Walled Gardens and photograph opportunities galore, it provided the perfect backdrop for Olivia and James’ wedding on Saturday 12th February 2022.

Originally due to take place in June last year, the couple had to postpone the date because of the pandemic. Although their winter wedding was a complete comparison to their previously planned summer celebration, Olivia and James were spoilt with the most gorgeous day. Of course, it was long awaited!

The couple were the epitome of modern elegance and wanted a wedding style to match. The brief for their luxury wedding flowers was plenty of pillow-soft white flowers and an abundance of foliage to fill the venue, offering an ethereal and natural vibe.

Olivia’s bridal bouquet was brimming with white roses, ranunculus, scented stocks and freesias. The bride wore two dresses, with a stunning dress featuring subtle floral details for the ceremony, before changing into a minimalist and chic gown for the evening. Her bridesmaids looked divine in powder blue gowns, carrying simple gypsophila bouquets that worked beautifully alongside the statement bridal bouquet. Liz Patey Hair & Makeup was on hand to give Olivia and her team of ‘maids the perfect natural glow for their wedding day make-up.

Northbrook Park is renowned for The Vine Room, where we dressed the ceremony aisle with petals and adorned the fireplace with foliage and florals. Church chapel candles were lit and placed in front of the fireplace to add a warm glow to their winter wedding. After the ‘I Do’ moment, Olivia, James and their loved ones moved into the Orangery for the reception and wedding breakfast. The top table was sat below an enormous flower and foliage chandelier, which had a huge impact on the overall styling and was incredibly dramatic. The dramatic chandelier was a unique and stunning way to highlight the top table, and it looked wonderfully coordinated with the rest of the floral design throughout the room. Guests were seated at long tables supplied by Rustic Hire, which were decorated with foliage garlands and white flowers, candles as well as blue glasses and vintage candle holders were placed with twinkling tea lights. Runners and glasses were provided by the team at Co-Hire, with fairy lights adorned the ceiling with our foliage garlands entwining the beams.

With the combination of the venue, the florals and the sheer love that shone through on the day, Olivia and James’ winter wedding at Northbrook Park really was one to remember. A huge thank you to Photos From Sophie for capturing their love story on camera!

Early July Wedding at Northbrook Park

After what has been a hugely unpredictable 18 months, we’re enjoying every second of a very busy wedding season and we hope you’re enjoying seeing an insight into what goes on behind the scenes at Fiona Curry Flowers. We’re bringing you another one of our beautiful love stories today on the blog, with Tash and James’ stunning special day at Northbrook Park on Saturday 3rd July 2021. This country house wedding venue in Hampshire really is the epitome of English elegance, with its manicured gardens, ideal location and endless photograph opportunities. It was the perfect backdrop for Tash and James’ big day and we’re over the moon to be able to share a few details about their nuptials, along with gorgeous imagery by Lydia Stamps Photography.

Tash, the bride-to-be, had asked for soft, romantic summery petals for her floral design. Our team at Fiona Curry Flowers created an abundance of lightly scented white peonies and hydrangeas paired with blush roses that flowed throughout the wedding. The bridal bouquet was brimming with the same scented white peonies, hydrangeas and blush roses – the perfect combination for a romantic, summer feel. Tash’s wedding gown was from Boo Bridal Boutique in Hartley Wintney, while the groom and his ushers looked utterly dashing dresses in black tie. The bridesmaids looked divine in mix and match blush gowns with sequin bodices – we wanted them to feel super glam with their pompom bouquets of blousy white hydrangeas, which were finished with pale pink wraps. Tash and James also had three darling little flower girls with floral headbands and flower fairy wands – they looked enchanting!

When it came to Tash and James’ ceremony, we dressed the aisle with tall pedestals and glass vases overflowing with big, blousy summer blooms and trailing foliage – it looked beautiful, and it makes us smile just thinking about it. The space is also home to a grand fireplace, which we elegantly adorned with an end-to-end mass of blooms. The chairs were decorated with gorgeous blousy garlands to tie the couple’s floral theme together. The happy couple envisioned guests being immersed in floral delight from the very moment they arrived at Northbrook Park, so we carefully tied rose heads to ribbons, which gently moved in the light breeze and instantly set the scene for everyone at the reception.

Thank you to the very talented Lydia Stamps Photography for capturing their stunning summer wedding on camera! And thank you to Tash and James for choosing Fiona Curry Flowers, it was a real pleasure to be a part of your celebration, particularly during a very important year for the wedding industry. It was a joy to bring their flower dreams to life – if you’re looking for a Luxury Wedding Florist please do get in touch with us to receive bespoke quote and discover our availability.
