Fiona is the creative soul, artist and imagination behind Fiona Curry Flowers. Initially seeing flowers as an expression of art, she quickly discovered the floral magic in her fingertips. Fiona began as a design florist in London, gathering a wealth of experience and firmly establishing herself as one of the most sought-after florists. Her time working in Mayfair taught Fiona about the importance of taking a unique approach with each and every client. Her work today is also heavily influenced by the capital and her love of galleries and big fashion houses.
Fiona’s story also includes a large chapter in Italy with her beautiful flower shop. Fiona still loses herself in the romance of Italy and is particularly fond of renaissance art and architecture – much of which inspires her floristry work. After many years in Italy, Fiona returned to her beloved England and continued her passion for event flowers. To this day, she spends her time between Hampshire, London, Umbria and Rome.
It is the effortless fusion of working in the city and soaking up the countryside that shapes and influences her work as a wedding and event florist. City glamour meets natural elegance; the best of both worlds.
Fiona adores being surrounded by flowers, as well as playing such a significant and transformative role in the most important day of a couple’s life. But it’s the whole experience that makes it; delving into your story, hearing all about your hopes and dreams, and being able to make them a reality. It’s knowing you’ve been able to give someone that ‘goosebump’ feeling through flowers. Creating the connection and making it last forever.
Fiona lives for those unbeatable, light-up moments; the reactions that cannot be replaced and the flower design details that are just so unbelievably you. Bringing your story to life.
“Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for producing the most BEAUTIFUL wedding flowers. We had so many incredible comments about all of the arrangements. Thank you for being so patient with all of our e mails and last minute worries. We will always be grateful.”
